A bioactive organic growing medium that provides the moisture-retentive and biologically active fraction of several PlantScraper specialist substrate recipes.

Use it alone where suitable or as a controlled organic base when building a custom indoor plant substrate with bark, perlite, coco, tree fern fibre or mineral components.

For custom substrates: Measure by volume and combine with structural ingredients according to the plant's roots, pot, watering habits and growing environment.

Add chunky perlite or bark when greater aeration and drainage are required. Add coco husk chips or tree fern fibre when additional structured moisture retention or distribution is needed.

Do not assume one custom recipe suits every plant. Changing particle size or proportions changes how quickly the root zone wets and dries.

The medium contains no added fertiliser. Establish an appropriate feeding routine based on the plant, season, light and growth rate.
