Turn your IKEA ÅKERBÄR into an organised miniature plant cabinet with a fitted tray and pegboard system designed specifically for the greenhouse.

The clear acrylic pegboard creates vertical space for plants and accessories, while the fitted PETG trays protect the greenhouse base and collect drainage beneath your pots.

Choose the Basic set for simple water collection or the Pro set for raised mesh trays, an additional acrylic shelf and humidity monitoring.

Every acrylic and PETG component is designed and manufactured in Czechia specifically for IKEA ÅKERBÄR.

These sets are designed exclusively for the two IKEA ÅKERBÄR greenhouse sizes:

• 65 cm: Large IKEA ÅKERBÄR

Choose the Basic set when you want fitted open trays that collect drainage beneath pots.

Choose the Pro set when you want:

• Removable mesh lids that raise pots above collected water
• A full-width shelf for smaller plants
• A digital temperature and humidity hygrometer

Basic and Pro trays have different constructions. Basic trays cannot be converted into Pro trays, and the mesh lids are not sold separately.

The pegboard accepts selected IKEA SKÅDIS accessories and PlantScraper pegboard attachments. Check that the selected accessory and plant fit comfortably inside the greenhouse without preventing the doors from closing.

The full-width shelf included with the Pro set is 7.5 cm deep. Choose pots whose bases fit completely on its supporting surface.

Install the pegboard and shelf

1. Check that you selected the correct greenhouse size and confirm the fit before removing the protective film.
2. Remove the protective film from both sides of every acrylic component. The film may make the acrylic appear cloudy, scratched or marked before removal.
3. Attach the pegboard to the greenhouse’s metal frame using the included magnetic mounting system.
4. Follow the supplied installation instructions and check that the greenhouse opens and closes freely.
5. With the Pro set, hang the full-width shelf from the pegboard using the supplied clear acrylic brackets.
6. Reposition the shelf when needed to accommodate smaller plants or a changing layout.

No drilling, cutting or permanent greenhouse modification is required.

Use the trays

With the Basic set, place pots directly inside the open trays. Empty excess water whenever the plants should not remain standing in it.

With the Pro set, place pots on the removable mesh lids so drainage can collect below. Water held beneath the lids may help increase humidity while keeping the pot bases raised above it. Always keep the water level below the pot bases.

Empty and clean the trays regularly. Maintain airflow around the plants and monitor conditions inside the greenhouse. Standing water does not replace appropriate ventilation.

Clean acrylic with water, mild soap and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, acetone, alcohol and alcohol-based products.

The hygrometer can stand inside the greenhouse or hang from the pegboard. Batteries are not included.

The selected white or black colour applies to the PETG trays, magnetic pegboard mounts and the hygrometer included with the Pro set. The acrylic pegboard, full-width shelf and shelf brackets remain clear in both colour options.
