Transform your IKEA RUDSTA Wide into a purpose-built plant cabinet with clear acrylic shelving and magnetically mounted pegboards designed specifically for this cabinet.

Both sets combine a full shelf and a U-shaped shelf, allowing you to create a complete growing level while preserving an opening for taller plants. Choose between one or three pegboards depending on how much vertical display and storage space you need.

Every acrylic component is designed and manufactured in Czechia for the IKEA RUDSTA Wide.

These sets are designed exclusively for the IKEA RUDSTA Wide. They are not compatible with RUDSTA Tall or other cabinet models.

Choose your layout

• Full shelf: Creates a complete growing level and maximises the available surface for arranging multiple pots.
• U-shaped shelf: Provides planting space along the back and sides while leaving a large central opening for a taller plant to grow through from below.
• Magnetic pegboard: Mounts directly to the cabinet’s metal back panel using the included magnetic mounting system.

The single pegboard in the 3-piece set can be positioned at the preferred height. The three pegboards in the 5-piece set can be distributed across the upper, middle and lower sections of the back panel.

The pegboards are compatible with selected IKEA SKÅDIS accessories and PlantScraper pegboard attachments, including hanging attachments for tower pot covers in these sizes:

Arrange the components around the current size of your plants, leaving sufficient space for foliage, new growth, watering and routine maintenance.

The full and U-shaped shelves replace the original glass shelves at the cabinet’s existing shelf positions. They use the original IKEA shelf brackets, so no additional shelf brackets are required.

Attach each pegboard directly to the metal back panel using its included magnetic mounting system. No drilling, cutting or permanent cabinet modification is required.

Before adding plants:

1. Check that every component fits correctly before removing its protective film.
2. Remove the protective film from both sides of every acrylic component. The film may make the surface appear cloudy, scratched or marked before removal.
3. Ensure each shelf is seated securely on the original brackets.
4. Check that every pegboard is securely mounted.
5. Distribute pots across the supported shelf surfaces and account for their increased weight after watering.
6. Choose pots whose bases fit fully within the supporting sections, leaving clearance around the shelf edges and central opening.

Empty shelves before repositioning them and support each component carefully during removal or installation.

Clean with water, mild soap and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, acetone, alcohol and alcohol-based products.

The stated piece count refers to the acrylic shelves and pegboards. The hygrometer and smart plug are additional accessories.
