Large bark and chunky perlite form 60% of the recipe by volume. Coco husk chips, tree fern fibre and a BioActive foundation add moisture-retentive materials around that framework.

Use directly from the bag in a stable pot with effective drainage.

Choose a pot that accommodates the current root system and any moss pole anchor without leaving an unnecessarily large volume of unused substrate.

Fill loosely around the roots and tap the pot to settle particles into gaps. Do not crush the bark or compact the mix tightly.

Water thoroughly and allow all runoff to drain. Check moisture deeper in the pot because the coarse surface can dry before the centre. Adjust watering to the plant and growing conditions.
