Orchiata Power Plus is a premium matured New Zealand Pinus radiata bark for orchids, epiphytes and highly aerated custom substrate mixes.

The 12 to 18 mm Power Plus grade creates a coarse, stable root environment with substantial air space while retaining useful moisture within the bark.

It can be used as a standalone orchid medium or as a premium structural component in aroid and epiphytic substrate mixes.

Orchiata is not simply ordinary pine bark.

Use directly from the bag. Orchiata Power Plus does not need to be washed or soaked before use.

For orchids:
Use alone or combine with other suitable epiphytic media depending on the species and moisture requirements.

For aroid mixes:
Blend with components such as perlite, coco husk chips, tree fern fibre or a suitable organic growing medium to add coarse structure and airflow.

Do not compress the bark tightly around the roots. Maintain enough open space for air and water to move freely through the pot.

Provide appropriate fertilisation according to the plant and growing method.
