A mineral-dominant cactus and succulent substrate designed for fast drainage, durable structure and substantial root-zone aeration.

With 60% fine mineral mix plus 10% chunky perlite, the formula limits the dense organic fraction while maintaining enough moisture contact for container growing.

• 60% fine mineral mix: Pumice, lava and zeolite create the main physical structure around the roots.
• 2-8 mm mineral grading: Provides closer particle contact than a very chunky mineral substrate while retaining drainage and porosity.
• 10% chunky perlite: Adds lightweight 5-15 mm air spaces throughout the mix.
• Controlled organic fraction: 30% bioactive growing medium prevents the formula from behaving like a purely mineral semi-hydro substrate.

Water requirements still vary by species, pot size, temperature, light and season.

Use directly from the bag in a pot with an unobstructed drainage hole.

Position the plant and settle the substrate gently around the roots without heavy compression. Water thoroughly when the plant requires it, then allow all excess water to drain.

Do not water on a fixed schedule. Check the root zone and adjust frequency to the plant, season, container and environment. Reduce watering substantially when growth and evaporation slow.

The mix contains no added fertiliser. Feed according to the needs of the species and active growing period.
