A 40 L bulk format of New Zealand tree fern fibre for growers who need a fibrous, moisture-distributing and aerated growing medium in larger quantities.

It is the same tree fern fibre supplied in the 8.5 L format, packed for extensive collections, nurseries and frequent substrate mixing.

• Fibrous structure: Creates continuous root-contact surfaces while preserving air spaces.
• Moisture distribution: Holds and spreads water through the fibres without becoming a dense soil-like mass.
• Versatile physical role: Suitable for standalone use where appropriate or for modifying aroid, orchid and propagation substrates.
• Laboratory analysed: A tested sample measured approximately pH 5.6 with conductivity of 0.114 mS/cm.
• New Zealand origin: A defined fibrous component used in selected PlantScraper specialist formulas.
• 40 L format: Reduces the need to open multiple smaller bags during high-volume use.

• Large indoor plant collections
• Nurseries and frequent repotting
• Custom Anthurium, aroid, orchid and Hoya substrates
• Propagation and developing root systems
• Epiphytic plants
• Growers regularly modifying moisture distribution and fibrous structure

As a standalone medium: Fill loosely, position the roots through the fibres and water thoroughly. Allow excess water to drain.

As a substrate component: Combine by volume with bark, chunky perlite, coco husk chips or mineral materials according to the required root environment.

For propagation: Use lightly moist fibre around developing roots while maintaining airflow.

Do not compress tightly. Tree fern fibre contains no added fertiliser, so established plants require a suitable feeding routine.

• 100% New Zealand tree fern fibre
• Natural fibrous growing medium
• No added fertiliser

Supplied as one 40 L bulk bag or a pack of three 40 L bulk bags.
