Why this product?

This classic moss pole anchor set combines a matching aroid pot, PETG anchor, classic moss pole and rapid dripper into one stable growing system for climbing indoor plants.

The anchor connects the pole to the pot instead of relying on substrate alone to resist movement. The matched sizing removes compatibility guesswork and creates a stronger foundation as the plant gains height, foliage and forward weight.

The included rapid dripper makes it easier to keep the pole moist and deliver diluted fertiliser directly to roots growing inside it.

Unlike a solid coco pole or ordinary stake, the D-shaped pole holds a rootable growing medium for aerial roots and can be extended as the plant climbs.

Why it works
  • Anchored foundation: Transfers movement into the pot rather than depending on loose substrate to hold the pole upright.
  • Matched components: Every set pairs the correct pole, anchor, pot diameter and rapid dripper.
  • Easier watering and feeding: The included rapid dripper distributes water or correctly diluted fertiliser into the pole from above.
  • Rootable D-shaped support: Keeps moist filling directly behind the climbing stem for aerial roots to enter.
  • Extendable without small connectors: Add another pole of the same size and closing position as the plant grows.
  • Correct materials: The anchor is PETG. Crystal-clear poles are PET; clear matte, white and black poles are polypropylene.
Best suited for

Monsteras, Philodendrons, Epipremnums, Scindapsus, Rhaphidophoras and other climbing plants that need lasting vertical support.

  • S / 10 cm: S pole, S10 anchor, 10 cm pot and S1 dripper.
  • S / 12 cm: S pole, S12 anchor, 12 cm pot and S1 dripper.
  • M / 14 cm: M pole, M14 anchor, 14 cm pot and M2 dripper.
  • M / 16 cm: M pole, M16 anchor, 16 cm pot and M2 dripper.
  • L / 18 cm: L pole, L18 anchor, 18 cm pot and L3 dripper.
  • L / 21 cm: L pole, L21 anchor, 21 cm pot and L3 dripper.
  • XL / 24 cm: XL pole, XL24 anchor, 24 cm pot and XL3 dripper.
  • XL / 28 cm: XL pole, XL28 anchor, 28 cm pot and XL3 dripper.

Choose for the plant’s future size while ensuring the pot still accommodates its current roots and the anchor. For large Monstera deliciosa intended to mature on the system, XL28 provides the strongest long-term option.

These sets use standard aroid pots and classic moss poles. They are not compatible with front-opening poles, self-watering pots or other brands’ systems. For reservoir watering, choose the self-watering anchor set.

How to use it
  1. Place the anchor inside the empty pot.
  2. Fit the classic pole in the required closing position: S, M2, L3 or XL3.
  3. Check that the pole and anchor are correctly connected before adding the plant.
  4. Add a coarse, well-draining aroid substrate around the roots and anchor.
  5. Fill the pole evenly and keep the filling aerated. Use pure sphagnum moss in S; use moss pole filling mix or sphagnum in M, L and XL.
  6. Place the stem’s aerial-root side against the open face and secure the stem loosely with a garden tie.
  7. Fit the included rapid dripper at the top of the pole for convenient watering and fertiliser application.

Install during initial potting or repotting. Adding an anchor after roots establish usually requires removing the plant and disturbing the root ball.

Water the pole from the top using the rapid dripper and keep the filling evenly moist, not saturated. Use correctly diluted fertiliser when feeding. Allow excess water to drain safely and protect surrounding surfaces, as no saucer is included.

Extend with an identical pole before roots reach the top. Recheck stability after each extension and use a wall anchor for tall or forward-heavy setups. Support the pot from underneath when moving it.
