In detail

Why this product?

This standard anchor creates a structural connection between a classic moss pole and a compatible aroid pot.

Instead of depending on substrate to hold a tall pole upright, the anchor transfers movement and leverage into the pot itself, creating a considerably more stable foundation as the plant gains height and weight.

It is designed to be installed from the beginning of the setup, before the pot becomes filled with established roots.

Why it works
  • Locks the pole to the pot rather than relying on substrate pressure alone.
  • Helps reduce leaning, rotation and unwanted movement as the plant develops.
  • Fixes the moss pole in the correct anchor-compatible closing position.
  • Available in multiple combinations to match both pole size and pot diameter.
  • Made from PETG for strength and repeated exposure to moisture and fertiliser.
Best suited for

Available sizes:

  • S10 and S12
  • M14 and M16
  • L18 and L21
  • XL24 and XL28

The letter indicates the moss pole size. The number indicates the top diameter of the compatible aroid pot in centimetres.

For large climbers such as Monstera deliciosa, choose the system around the plant's future size rather than starting with an undersized pole and pot.

How to use it

Install the anchor inside the empty compatible aroid pot and connect the moss pole before adding substrate and the plant.

Because the anchor occupies internal pot volume, allow additional room for both the anchor and the developing root system.

Use these closing positions:

  • S: S
  • M: M2
  • L: L3
  • XL: XL3

Adding an anchor after the plant has become established generally requires repotting and root disturbance, so plan stability from day one.

If you need the pole, pot and anchor together, choose the anchor set for classic moss poles.

What’s included
  • 1 PETG standard anchor in your selected size

Moss pole, pot, substrate, moss and rapid dripper are not included.

Compatible with PlantScraper classic moss poles and matching standard aroid pots only.
