The XS propagation moss pole gives one climbing plant cutting compact support and a moist rooting surface while it establishes.

At 18.5 cm tall and 2.5 cm wide, it fits small pots and propagation boxes without taking unnecessary space from young roots. Unlike a plain propagation stake, its open face holds sphagnum moss directly against nodes and developing aerial roots.

Use it for the propagation stage, then move the established plant to a larger classic moss pole or front-opening moss pole selected for its future growth.

One cutting per pole. Indoor use only. This is a short-term propagation tool, not a permanent support for a mature climbing plant.

It is not stackable and not compatible with anchors, wall anchors or rapid drippers.

1. Assemble the pole and fill it evenly with moistened long-fibre sphagnum moss. Do not compress the moss excessively.
2. Position the pole close to the cutting without crowding its existing roots.
3. Place the stem’s nodes or aerial-root side against the open moss surface.
4. Secure the stem gently with a plant tie if needed, leaving room for thickening.
5. Water from the top and keep the moss lightly, evenly moist rather than saturated.
6. Once roots are developing, apply suitable diluted fertiliser when needed. Sphagnum does not replace plant nutrition.
7. Transfer the plant to a larger support before the cutting outgrows the XS pole.

Between propagation cycles, separate preserved roots carefully before opening the pole. Remove old moss, wash with water and mild soap, rinse thoroughly and dry before reuse.
