Give plants extra structural support and resilience with a concentrated, plant-available silicon supplement.

HESI Hesilicio contains 3% orthosilicic acid in colloidal form, allowing silicon to be supplied through either the roots or foliage. It supports stronger plant tissues and nutrient uptake, helping plants cope with environmental challenges such as heat, temporary drought and changing temperatures.

• Plant-available silicon: Provides orthosilicic acid rather than the largely insoluble silicon naturally present in sand and rock.
• Stronger plant structure: Supports cell-wall strength in leaves and roots, helping plants develop sturdier tissues.
• Environmental stress support: Helps plants maintain resilience when growing conditions become less favourable.
• Root or foliar application: Can be diluted into irrigation water or applied as a fine spray to suitable foliage.
• Broad growing-system compatibility: Suitable for soil, coco and hydroponic cultivation, including semi-hydroponic setups.
• Works alongside normal feeding: Compatible with HESI fertilisers and boosters without replacing essential base nutrition.
• Highly concentrated formula: Requires no more than 0.5 ml per litre of water.

Hesilicio is a silicon booster, not a complete NPK fertiliser. It is not a pesticide or a treatment for existing pests, diseases or root rot.

Use Hesilicio for:

• Foliage houseplants, including Monstera, Philodendron and other aroids
• Young and actively growing plants developing new leaves, stems and roots
• Balcony and outdoor container plants exposed to changing weather conditions
• Plants in both vegetative growth and flowering stages
• Soil, coco, hydroponic and semi-hydroponic cultivation
• Growing routines that already include an appropriate base fertiliser

It can complement a complete feed such as HESI HousePlant Elixir. Silicon supplementation cannot compensate for prolonged underwatering, waterlogged roots, insufficient light or an unsuitable fertiliser programme.

Maximum dosage: 0.5 ml per litre of water, equivalent to 5 ml per 10 litres. Do not exceed this concentration.

Through the growing medium

Add the measured amount to water or a prepared nutrient solution, mix thoroughly and apply as part of normal watering. A typical schedule is once per week, adjusted to the plant's needs.

Foliar application

Dilute at the same maximum concentration and lightly spray foliage suitable for foliar treatment. Avoid strong direct sunlight or intense grow lights during application, and test delicate leaves on a small area first.

Lower concentrations are acceptable. For more frequent use, keep each application dilute rather than increasing the strength. Do not mix undiluted concentrates together or give plants additional water solely to apply the booster.

Because the dosage is very small, a measuring pipette helps dispense the required quantity accurately.

Active silicon source:
