Create additional space for growing medium around an Anthurium’s exposed stem and developing aerial roots without disturbing the established root ball.

The adjustable extender sits on the pot rim and increases its effective height by 5 cm. Additional extenders can be stacked as the plant continues to grow.

They can hold:

• Sphagnum moss
• PlantScraper moss pole mix
• Another suitable airy growing medium

Measure the outside of the pot rim where the extender will rest. Choose a size that can be fastened securely without forcing the extender into the substrate.

Available sizes:

• 10 cm: Fits pots up to 10 cm in external rim diameter
• 13.5 cm: Fits pots up to 13.5 cm in external rim diameter

Both sizes are 5 cm tall.

1. For the crystal-clear finish, remove the protective film before assembly.
2. Curve the extender into a ring.
3. Secure it using the fastening position that matches the pot.
4. Place it on the pot rim or on top of an existing extender.
5. Add a suitable airy growing medium loosely around the exposed roots.
6. Keep the plant’s growing point, leaves and petioles uncovered.

Water the added medium gradually and allow excess water to drain through the pot. Check it separately from the substrate below, as the two areas may dry at different rates.

All extenders in a pack have the same selected size and finish.

Choose from:

• 10 cm or 13.5 cm maximum diameter
• crystal clear or clear matte

The crystal-clear finish provides the clearest view of roots and growing medium. The clear matte finish has a frosted appearance that makes them less clearly visible.

Both finishes are made from polypropylene.
