Turn your PlantScraper square aroid tower pot into a ventilated self-watering setup with a decorative finish.

The cover combines a water reservoir and included wick to help reduce watering frequency, while shielding the clear pot from direct light. Check water through the viewing window, or lift out the tower pot to inspect roots before returning it to the cover.

• Reservoir and wick: The wick carries moisture from the reservoir into the substrate by capillary action.
• Ventilated sides: Maintain airflow around the inner pot while reducing light exposure, helping limit algae growth.
• Two-piece magnetic design: Connects the ventilated upper section to the reservoir below.
• Viewing window: Provides a direct view of the reservoir without removing the pot.
• Textured PETG finish: Combines a decorative surface with resistance to prolonged moisture exposure. Designed and manufactured in Czechia.

PlantScraper square aroid tower pots, used indoors with airy aroid mixes or mineral substrates, including semi-hydro setups.

Choose the same cover size as your tower pot: 5, 7, 9, 12, 15 or 18 cm. These options identify the compatible pot size, not the cover’s outer dimensions.

Avoid dense, compacted soil that stays excessively wet.

Optional pegboard mounting

The hanging attachment fits IKEA SKÅDIS and the compatible pegboards used in PlantScraper’s IKEA cabinet setups.

• Available for covers matching 5, 7, 9, 12 and 15 cm pots.
• The 18 cm cover cannot be mounted on a pegboard.

The attachment is included only when selected. The pegboard is sold separately.

Fit the wick and pot

1. Thread the supplied wick through the holes in the tower pot’s base in an inverted U shape.
2. Keep the middle section in contact with the substrate and both ends extending into the reservoir.
3. Place the tower pot inside the assembled cover.

Water and monitor

• Water slowly from the top, allowing excess water to drain into the reservoir.
• Monitor the level through the viewing window and keep the water below the base of the tower pot.
• Allow drainage to finish before adding more to avoid overfilling.
• Refill when the reservoir is approximately half empty.
• Check both substrate moisture and the reservoir regularly, especially after repotting.

Lift out the inner tower pot when you want to inspect root development, then return it to the cover.
