Provide young and vegetatively growing plants with complete, immediately available nutrition for hydroponic cultivation.

HESI Hydro Growth is a one-component NPK fertiliser formulated for systems in which water supplies virtually all plant nutrition. Its growth-focused nutrient balance supports root establishment, foliage production and continued vegetative development in inert growing media.

• One-component formula: Combines the nutrient functions commonly divided between separate A and B fertilisers into one bottle.
• Designed for hydroponics: Nutrients are supplied in soluble forms that remain available as the solution passes around the roots.
• Chelated trace elements: Chelation helps keep micronutrients stable and available within the nutrient solution.
• Secondary nutrients included: Supplies calcium, magnesium and sulphur alongside its primary NPK nutrients.
• Vitamins and amino acids: Support young plants as they establish roots and adapt to inert growing media.
• Supports microbial film formation: Added organic compounds encourage the development of a microfilm around the substrate and root zone.
• Growth-specific balance: Provides proportionally more nitrogen than HESI Hydro Bloom to support the production of new vegetative tissue.

Unlike general-purpose fertilisers adapted from soil cultivation, Hydro Growth is formulated specifically around the direct nutrient supply required in hydroponic systems.

Use Hydro Growth during the vegetative phase in:

• Active hydroponic systems
• Passive hydroponic and semi-hydroponic setups
• Self-watering pots containing mineral substrate
• Expanded clay, rockwool and other inert hydroponic media
• Pumice, lava rock and zeolite-based mineral substrates
• Young plants developing roots and vegetative growth

It can be used for foliage houseplants maintained in vegetative growth as well as plants that will later enter a flowering phase.

For flowering plants, change to a suitable flowering fertiliser such as HESI Hydro Bloom when the plant’s nutritional requirements change.

Hydro Growth is not formulated as a soil fertiliser. Use TNT Complex, HousePlant Elixir or another appropriate product for plants grown in organic potting substrates.

Mix 5 ml per litre of water, equivalent to 50 ml per 10 litres.

Prepare the nutrient solution

1. Add Hydro Growth to clean water.
2. Mix the solution thoroughly.
3. Measure the total EC, including the minerals already present in the source water.
4. Adjust the concentration if necessary for the plant and system.
5. Measure and adjust the pH after the nutrients have been mixed.
6. Add the completed solution to the hydroponic system or reservoir.

Recommended growth-phase values

• EC: Up to 1.5 mS/cm
• pH: 5.8 to 6.2

These figures refer to the complete nutrient solution, not the fertiliser concentrate. Water quality, plant species, growth stage and cultivation system can affect the appropriate final values.

Check reservoir level, EC and pH regularly. Replace the nutrient solution and clean the reservoir according to the requirements of the system rather than continually topping it up without monitoring.

When using very soft, distilled or reverse-osmosis water, check whether additional calcium and magnesium are required. Do not add supplements automatically, as Hydro Growth already contains secondary nutrients.

One 1 L bottle prepares approximately 200 L of nutrient solution at the standard dosage.
