HESI Hydro Bloom is a one-component NPK fertiliser formulated for the flowering phase. Its 3-4-5 nutrient balance increases the relative supply of phosphorus and potassium while continuing to provide nitrogen, secondary nutrients and trace elements.

• One-component formula: Provides complete base nutrition without requiring separate A and B fertilisers.
• Flowering-specific balance: Supplies proportionally more phosphorus and potassium than HESI Hydro Growth.
• Chelated trace elements: Helps keep micronutrients stable and available within the nutrient solution.
• Secondary nutrients included: Supplies magnesium, calcium and sulphur alongside its NPK nutrients.
• pH-buffered formula: Helps improve pH stability, although regular measurement and adjustment remain necessary.
• Immediately available nutrition: Formulated for systems in which the nutrient solution passes directly around the roots.
• Vitamins and amino acids: Support plant metabolism and the formation of a microbial film on initially inert growing media.

The microbial film may help the root-zone surface retain water and nutrients. Hydro Bloom is not a fungicide and should not be presented as protection against root rot, pathogens or poor reservoir hygiene.

Use Hydro Bloom during the flowering phase in:

• Passive hydroponic and semi-hydroponic setups
• Self-watering pots containing mineral substrate
• Expanded clay, rockwool and other inert hydroponic media
• Pumice, lava rock and zeolite-based mineral substrates

Switch from HESI Hydro Growth when a flowering plant moves from vegetative development into its bloom phase.

Hydro Bloom is not formulated as a soil fertiliser. It is also unnecessary for foliage plants that are not being grown for flowers or fruit, unless their specific nutritional programme requires a bloom-phase formula.

Hydro Bloom is already a complete base fertiliser. Use additional phosphorus and potassium supplements only when appropriate for the plant and feeding programme, as unnecessary supplementation can raise the EC excessively.

Mix 5 ml per litre of water, equivalent to 50 ml per 10 litres.

Prepare the nutrient solution

1. Add Hydro Bloom to clean water.
2. Mix the solution thoroughly.
3. Measure the total EC, including minerals already present in the source water.
4. Adjust the concentration when necessary for the plant and hydroponic system.
5. Measure and adjust the pH after the nutrients have been mixed.
6. Add the completed solution to the system or reservoir.

Recommended flowering-phase values

• EC: 1.6 to 2.2 mS/cm
• pH: 5.8 to 6.2

These figures refer to the complete nutrient solution. The appropriate EC within this range depends on the plant species, growth stage, water quality, lighting and cultivation system. Begin conservatively with sensitive plants rather than automatically targeting the upper limit.

Monitor reservoir level, EC and pH regularly. Replace the nutrient solution and clean the reservoir at suitable intervals instead of relying exclusively on repeated top-ups.
