Gradually supply water to moss poles and potted plants using an inverted bottle and an adjustable drip outlet.

The threaded control lets you increase or reduce the flow, while the pointed spike holds the dripper in position within moss or growing medium.

The time between refills depends on the bottle capacity, selected flow rate, outlet position, growing medium, temperature and surrounding conditions.

Use the dripper to supply water gradually to:

• Moss poles
• Potted plants
• Specific areas of growing medium

The dripper uses a push-fit connection designed for standard bottle necks. Bottle necks and shapes vary, so check that your chosen bottle fits securely before filling and inverting it. Do not use a bottle that feels loose or unstable.

The optional PlantScraper bottle has a capacity of 500 ml and is compatible with the dripper.

For a moss-pole setup, the pole and pot must support the weight of the filled bottle. Confirm that the system remains stable, particularly with narrow poles or small pots.

Prepare and adjust the dripper

1. Fill the bottle with water.
2. Push the bottle securely into the dripper connection.
3. Invert the assembled dripper.
4. Insert the spike into the moss or substrate.
5. Position the outlet over the area you want to water.
6. Turn the threaded control to increase or reduce the flow.
7. Test the system where you can observe it before leaving it to water the plant.

Check the setup closely during its first use to see how much water reaches the growing medium and collects below.

For moss poles

Insert the spike securely into the moss at the top of the pole and position the outlet so water drips onto the filling. Monitor moisture at different heights and check the pot or reservoir below to prevent accumulated runoff from overflowing.

For potted plants

Insert the spike into the substrate and position the outlet above the intended watering area. Adjust the flow gradually and check the substrate moisture before refilling the bottle.

A slow drip still requires monitoring and should not be treated as a guaranteed watering schedule.

Rinse away residue after use and keep the outlet clear. Check the bottle connection and drip flow every time the system is refilled.
