Build, expand or rearrange your IKEA ÅKERBÄR setup with individual pegboards, shelves, brackets and fitted tray systems designed specifically for the greenhouse.

Add vertical display space, introduce another level for smaller plants or protect the greenhouse base from drainage. Each component is sold separately, allowing you to choose only the parts your setup requires.

Every acrylic and PETG component is designed and manufactured in Czechia.

Select the component that suits your setup:

• Magnetic pegboard: Creates vertical space for compatible shelves, plant holders and accessories.
• Full-width shelf: Extends across most of the pegboard width and supports several smaller pots on one level.
• Compact shelf: Displays one compact pot or another lightweight greenhouse accessory.
• Replacement shelf bracket: Replaces a lost or damaged bracket from either PlantScraper shelf type.
• Open tray set: Collects drainage beneath pots standing directly inside the trays.
• Mesh tray set: Raises pots above collected drainage using removable mesh lids.

Both shelf types require a compatible PlantScraper acrylic pegboard or IKEA SKÅDIS and include the required clear acrylic brackets.

The PlantScraper pegboard accepts selected IKEA SKÅDIS accessories and PlantScraper pegboard attachments. Check that the selected accessory and plant fit comfortably inside the greenhouse without preventing the doors from closing.

Choose pots whose bases fit fully on the shelves’ 7.5 cm depth.

Install the pegboard and shelves

1. Check that you selected the correct greenhouse size and component.
2. Confirm the fit before removing the protective film.
3. Remove the protective film from both sides of every acrylic component. The film may make the acrylic appear cloudy, scratched or marked before removal.
4. Attach the pegboard to the greenhouse’s metal frame using the included magnetic mounting system.
5. Hang the shelf from a compatible pegboard using the included clear acrylic brackets.
6. Reposition the shelf as your plants and layout change.
7. Check that the arrangement does not obstruct the greenhouse doors before adding plants.

No drilling, cutting or permanent greenhouse modification is required. Follow the supplied installation instructions.

Use the trays

With the open tray set, place pots directly inside the trays. Empty excess water whenever the plants should not remain standing in it.

With the mesh tray set, place pots on the removable lids so drainage can collect below. Water held beneath the lids may help increase humidity inside the greenhouse. Always keep the water level below the pot bases.

Open trays cannot accept mesh lids or be converted into mesh trays. The mesh lids are not sold separately.

Clean and maintain

Clean acrylic with water, mild soap and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, acetone, alcohol and alcohol-based products.

Empty and clean the trays regularly. Maintain airflow around the plants and monitor conditions inside the greenhouse. Standing water does not replace appropriate ventilation.

The bracket is compatible with the PlantScraper full-width and compact shelves. Select the required quantity when ordering replacements.

• 45 cm greenhouse: 2 fitted open PETG trays
• 65 cm greenhouse: 3 fitted open PETG trays

• 45 cm greenhouse: 2 fitted PETG trays and 2 removable mesh lids
• 65 cm greenhouse: 3 fitted PETG trays and 3 removable mesh lids

The trays and mesh lids are made from durable PETG suitable for prolonged moisture exposure.

The selected white or black colour applies to open trays, mesh trays, mesh lids and magnetic pegboard mounts. Pegboards, shelves and shelf brackets are always clear acrylic. For options containing only clear acrylic, the colour selection does not change the supplied product.

The greenhouse, plants, pots, lights, fans, plant holders, hooks and decorative accessories are sold separately.
