Give drooping or widely spreading leaves gentle, unobtrusive support without tying them together.

Each clear acrylic hook has six open arms that cradle individual leaf stalks, technically called petioles. This helps lift and arrange the foliage while keeping the support visually discreet.

Use the hooks directly around a group of petioles or add a clear support stick for greater stability and adjustable height.

• Six open support arms: Hold individual petioles without binding the entire plant together.
• Rounded hooks: Cradle the petioles while allowing each leaf some natural movement.
• Clear acrylic: Blends into the plant instead of visually competing with the foliage.
• Five diameters: Accommodate anything from compact crowns to groups of large leaves.
• Optional 4 mm support stick: Anchors the hook in the substrate when the leaves cannot support it securely on their own.
• Adjustable retaining piece: Holds the hook at the required height on the support stick.

The hook provides physical support but cannot guarantee that a petiole will not bend or become damaged. Install it gently and avoid forcing a leaf into an unnatural position.

Leaf support hooks are particularly useful for indoor plants whose leaves emerge from a central crown, including:

• Alocasia
• Colocasia
• Similar large-leaved or spreading houseplants
• Young plants that need help holding their leaves upright
• Established plants whose outer leaves require additional lift

Choose your size

• 45 mm: Small leaves, young plants and tight crowns
• 76 mm: Compact houseplants and small aroids
• 100 mm: Medium leaf clusters and many standard Alocasia sizes
• 127 mm: Larger leaves and heavier petioles
• 203 mm: Very large leaves or several petioles supported at one point

Choose according to the spread of the petioles you want to support. If the plant falls between two sizes, choose the larger hook so the petioles can rest naturally without being pulled tightly together.

Remove the protective film from both sides of the acrylic hook before installation, starting at an edge away from the logo.

Without a support stick

1. Guide the open arms around the selected petioles one at a time.
2. Distribute the leaves around the hook instead of placing all the weight on one arm.
3. Check that every petiole rests naturally and is not pinched or sharply bent.
4. Reposition the hook as the plant grows.

This setup works when the grouped petioles provide enough support to hold the hook in position.

With a support stick

1. Insert the clear support stick into the substrate near the centre of the plant, taking care around the roots.
2. Slide the retaining piece and hook onto the stick.
3. Set the hook at the required height.
4. Guide the petioles into the open arms.
5. Adjust the height until the leaves are supported without being forced upwards.

The support can be added before leaves begin to droop or used to lift existing leaves carefully. Do not try to straighten a petiole that has already kinked or cracked.

Clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and handle the acrylic carefully to minimise scratches.

Choose a pack of 1, 5 or 10 leaf support hooks.

Each hook is supplied with protective film to reduce scratching during transport.
