Clean and treat affected houseplant foliage with a concentrated neem-oil-based blend.

Leaf Armor is intended for contact application when visible soft-bodied pests or surface fungal growth are found on a plant. It can be used around common houseplant pests such as aphids, thrips, whiteflies, mealybugs, scale insects and spider mites.

The oil must contact the affected areas directly and is removed after application. It is not systemic and does not remain active inside the plant.

Always dilute before use. Never apply the concentrate directly to a plant.

• Neem oil: Forms the main neem-derived component of the contact treatment.
• Olive oil: Helps create a pourable, spreadable blend.
• Lavender essential oil: Adds the product’s characteristic scent.
• Measured pipette: Allows the concentrate to be dosed in millilitres.

Oil and water do not mix on their own. A small amount of suitable liquid soap acts as an emulsifier, helping disperse the oil through the water for more even application.

Because this is a contact treatment, complete application to the affected areas and removal of excess oil are important. It should not be treated as a guaranteed cure or as a substitute for isolating the plant, physically removing pests and correcting unsuitable growing conditions.

Use Leaf Armor on suitable indoor foliage plants when cleaning leaves and stems affected by visible pests or surface fungal growth.

Do not use it on:

• Cacti or succulents
• Plants with hairy or densely textured leaves
• Drought-stressed or waterlogged plants
• Fragile plants that are already declining
• Plants exposed to strong sunlight or temperatures above 28°C
• Newly unfurling or exceptionally delicate leaves

Plants differ in their tolerance to oils and essential oils. Always test one leaf first and wait 48 hours before treating the whole plant.

Do not apply it to open flowers or where visiting pollinators may contact the wet treatment. Do not allow the mixture to enter ponds, aquariums or natural waterways.

Preparing 100 ml

1. Shake the concentrate.
2. Mix 0.5 ml of Leaf Armor with 100 ml of water.
3. Add 1 drop of mild liquid soap suitable for use around plants.
4. Shake the spray bottle thoroughly to create an emulsion.

Preparing 500 ml

Mix:

• 2.5 ml of Leaf Armor
• 500 ml of water
• 5 drops of suitable liquid soap

Shake thoroughly before and during application because the oils may separate from the water.

Prepare only what you need and use it as soon as practical. Discard any remaining mixture within 48 hours. Do not return diluted product to the concentrate bottle.

Application

1. Isolate the affected plant from the rest of the collection.
2. Test the diluted mixture on one leaf and wait 48 hours.
3. If no adverse reaction appears, spray the affected leaves, leaf undersides, stems, leaf bases and other areas where pests or fungal growth are visible.
4. Leave the treatment on the plant for no longer than two hours.
5. Remove excess oil, pests and residue using a clean, soft cloth or kitchen paper.
6. Use fresh cloth or paper for each plant to reduce the risk of transferring pests.

Apply in the morning or evening, away from direct sunlight and strong grow lights. Ensure suitable airflow after treatment.

If another application is needed, inspect the plant and repeat after one week. Avoid unnecessary repeated oil treatments once the problem has been resolved.

Storage and handling

• Keep the concentrate closed in its original bottle and protected from direct sunlight.
• If it thickens at low temperatures, warm the closed bottle gently between your hands before shaking. Do not apply heat directly.
• Avoid inhaling the spray or getting the concentrate in your eyes.
• Keep out of reach of children and animals.
• Keep pets away during application until the foliage has been wiped and dried.

• 1 glass bottle containing 50 ml of concentrate
• 1 measured pipette
• 1 empty 500 ml mist bottle for preparing and applying the diluted mixture

One 50 ml bottle prepares approximately 10 L of diluted mixture at the stated rate.
