Choosing the Right Size of Anchor and Pot

When using a PlantScraper anchor system, it’s important to size up your pot to ensure both the anchor and your plant’s roots have enough space to thrive. We recommend increasing your pot size by 4 to 8 cm in diameter to accommodate the anchor system.

For example, if your Monstera is currently in a 10 cm pot, upgrading to a 16 or 18 cm pot will ensure ample room for root growth while securely fitting the anchor. This simple adjustment helps maintain stability and promotes healthy plant development over time.

Updated Design Notice for the Self-Watering Aroid Pot
Our pots have recently been updated to further improve functionality and ease of use. The central hole that previously allowed substrate to slip into the water reservoir has now been covered, effectively preventing substrate from entering the reservoir and keeping the area clean. This update does not affect the efficiency of the self-watering system in any way. However, it does slightly change the setup process if you plan to use a wick. Some of our earlier Instagram videos may still reference the central hole, but these are now outdated. Are these anchors compatible with non-self-watering pots?
No, these anchors are designed to work exclusively with PlantScraper’s self-watering aroid pots.

Can I use these anchors with front-opening moss poles?
No, these anchors are not compatible with the newly released front-opening moss poles.

Can I integrate a dripper with this system?
Yes. Anchored S poles can fit unisize S drippers. For M poles, the matching dripper size is M2. L moss poles require L3 drippers, and XL poles need XL3 drippers.
