This PETG anchor creates a structural connection between a classic moss pole and a matching aroid pot.

Instead of relying on substrate pressure to hold a tall pole upright, the anchor transfers movement into the pot and helps reduce leaning, rotation and toppling as the climbing plant becomes taller and heavier.

Install it from the start or during repotting so the plant, pole and roots can develop as one stable system.

The letter identifies the pole size. The number identifies the compatible pot’s top diameter in centimetres.

Choose for the plant’s expected growth while leaving space for the anchor and current root ball. Introducing an anchor commonly requires a pot approximately 4–8 cm wider than an equivalent unanchored setup, but always check the roots and anchor dimensions.

Not compatible with front-opening moss poles, self-watering aroid pots or other brands’ systems. For reservoir watering, choose the self-watering anchor.

1. Place the anchor inside the matching empty standard aroid pot with its base against the bottom.
2. Fit the classic moss pole in the required closing position: S, M2, L3 or XL3.
3. Confirm that the anchor and pole are seated correctly before adding the plant.
4. Add a coarse, well-draining substrate around the roots and anchor without compressing it excessively.
5. Position the stem’s aerial-root side against the open pole face and secure the main stem loosely with a plant tie.

For an established plant, install during repotting. Forcing an anchor into an occupied pot can damage roots and will not create a reliable foundation.

Recommended filling: Use approximately 15 g dry sphagnum moss in S. For M, L and XL, use approximately 1 L, 1.5 L and 3 L of moss pole filling mix. Sphagnum can also be used; actual quantities vary with closing position and packing density.

Water from the top. A matching classic rapid dripper spreads water and correctly diluted mineral fertiliser across the upper filling. Monitor the pot or saucer and stop before drainage causes overflow.

Roots may grow through the anchor, so treat it as a long-term part of the planted setup. Support the pot from underneath when moving it.

Choose one PETG anchor or three anchors of the same selected size.

The base diameter is measured across the section that sits against the pot bottom. The number in the variant name refers to compatible pot top diameter, not anchor height or base diameter.

Standard aroid pot, classic moss pole, substrate, pole filling, classic rapid dripper and plant are not included.
