NEW DESIGN AVAILABLE
Front Opening Moss Poles [Prime Line]
Differences and improvements from other PlantScraper moss poles:
Open Front Design: Easily remove your plant without damaging the roots. This unique feature also allows you to place a plant inside the moss pole, encouraging lower nodes to root and offering a practical air layering tool. You can even plant a cutting directly into the pole for optimal growth.
Front Closure: Unlike our standard moss poles, these are closed from the front side, not the back, making them ideal for specific planting needs.
Fixed Size: Available exclusively in a crystal clear finish and Medium size, these poles are non-adjustable.
Compatibility: Currently not compatible with our moss pole anchor.
Similarities to other PlantScraper moss poles:
Stackable Design: Extend the length of your moss poles by stacking up to three units. For taller arrangements, we recommend our moss pole anchor, which is being developed.
Eco-Friendly Materials: Crafted from robust, non-toxic BPA-free polypropylene/PET plastic, our moss poles are both durable and sustainable. When no longer needed, disassembling them is a breeze.
Enhanced Growth: Promote aerial root development and healthier leaf growth with our moss poles, which provide the perfect support for your plants.
Effortless Maintenance: Our slow-drying system keeps moss consistently moist. Just water from the top to maintain ideal moisture levels, thanks to reduced air exposure compared to DIY poles.
Aesthetic and Functional: Designed to blend seamlessly with any decor, our moss poles combine beauty and utility, enhancing your plant’s growth and your space’s look.

FAQ
We're always here to chat with you, but to make things easier, we've compiled some of the most frequently asked questions regarding PlantScraper moss poles.
Can the moss poles be stacked on top of each other?
Absolutely! You can stack as many as your ceiling height allows. If you plan to stack multiple poles, consider using anchors for future-proof stability.
Are your moss poles suitable for huge plants?
Indeed. But you should consider that our moss poles are best suited for small to medium plants that are in their climbing phase. By starting small, you can watch them grow into huge plants. But a huge adult plant won't adapt to a moss pole just like that, specially if it has never climber before.
How and when should I water your moss poles?
Water the moss poles regularly to prevent them from drying out completely. If using nutrient-free fillings like sphagnum moss, consider fertilizing the pole itself. For consistent watering, a dripper can be effective. It's important to note that our moss poles are designed with an open front side, unlike DIY or similar types. This design helps retain moisture longer compared to common alternatives. However, local climate and the pole's placement within your jungle will influence moisture retention rates.
Do the moss poles come with moss included?
This option is available directly within the product variant selection. When choosing materials, you can select either 'Poles' for just the foldable structure or 'Poles + Moss + Velcros' for a complete set that includes the poles, moss, and velcros.
When might I need more moss than what's included in the "poles + moss + velcros" option?
If you're planning to assemble a moss pole with greater depth than the smallest size, you may need additional moss. Otherwise, the amount provided in the "poles + moss + velcros" option should be sufficient.
Can I combine moss poles of different sizes when stacking them?
This isn't recommended. It's best to stack poles of the same size, ensuring they are adjusted to the same depth as the first pole you used in the pot.
Do I actually need an anchor?
Nope, we have personally "poled up" over 100 plants without using an anchor, and our customers have been using our moss poles for a long time without encountering any serious issues.
However, we've observed that stability can become a concern once your plants grow very tall. That's why we've developed this innovative solution. We recommend considering it only if you plan to install a moss pole for a large plant, or in other words, if you are going to stack 3 or more moss poles on top of each other.
Why the term "moss pole" is wrong?
When refering to PlantScraper moss poles, it's important noting that while "moss pole" is the most common term, our poles are actually versatile media poles.
That's right, you don't need to use moss—you can fill them with any substrate you prefer.
If you're looking for a recommendation, our Classic or Premium moss pole mixes are excellent choices. They significantly improve aeration and water retention compared to traditional moss.
TOP moss poles recommendations
Ensure a seamless moss pole experience for both you and your plant with our top-quality solutions, designed for optimal support, moisture retention, and plant health.
Anchor Set / Anchor, Pot & Pole [Classic Line]
Our moss pole anchors provide extra stability for larger plants and extended moss poles, ensuring your plants remain securely supported as they grow. They're compatible with various aroid pot sizes.
Moss Pole Mix
The Moss Pole Mixes, available in Classic and Premium, are designed for optimal climber growth. The Classic mix ensures balanced moisture, drainage, and nutrient supply, while the Premium mix adds tree fern for superior air circulation and root support.
Sphagnum Moss
Sphagnum moss is a cost-effective alternative to Moss Pole Mixes. It offers excellent moisture retention, natural pH balance, and supports aerial roots, all while being eco-friendly and simple to use. While the premium mixes provide extra features like added nutrients and tree fern for root anchoring, sphagnum moss delivers solid performance for less money, making it a common alternative.
2-meter Plant Tie
Plant ties are essential with moss poles to secure your climbing plants as they grow. They help guide the plant's direction and ensure stable attachment until the roots naturally anchor into the moss pole. Without ties, plants may not adhere properly, leading to weaker growth.
Houseplant Elixir - Hesi Fertiliser 0.5L & 1L
Fertilizing a moss pole with delivers essential nutrients directly to your plant’s aerial roots, promoting faster growth and strong root development. This ensures both the plant and pole are nourished, leading to vibrant foliage and healthier, more resilient plants.
Squizy Bottle
A squizy bottle is the perfect tool for watering moss poles with precision, ensuring every drop reaches your plant’s aerial roots for optimal hydration while avoiding overwatering.
