Essential Tips for Using Our Products
Your order includes a printed set of basic instructions. These tips are a great start, but there's even more to know.
Can I use your moss poles for large monsteras or similar plants?
The nature of moss poles is to mimic a plant's natural climbing environment. In the wild, a monstera would naturally find a support to climb, such a tree or a wall, and its growth, structure, and aerial roots would adapt to that support in a symbiotic way. However, if you place a mature monstera, accustomed to growing on the ground, onto a tree or moss pole, it won’t adapt well. For the best results, start with a small plant and let it climb the moss pole from the beginning. This way, it will grow into a beautiful, mature plant like the one shown above.
Once the plants grow, can I stack the moss poles on top of each other?
Absolutely! You can stack as many as your ceiling height allows. If you plan to stack multiple poles, consider using anchors for future-proof stability.
How and when should I water your moss poles?
Water the moss poles regularly to prevent them from drying out completely. If using nutrient-free fillings like sphagnum moss (the one you got), consider fertilizing the pole itself. For consistent watering, a dripper can be effective.
