HESI Balcony Bloom Elixir is an NPK 3-3-4 liquid fertiliser developed for flowering plants growing in soil, particularly in pots and planters with limited substrate volume. Alongside essential nutrients, it provides calcium, magnesium, chelated micronutrients, vitamins and amino acids to support healthy foliage, colourful blooms and sustained growth.

Use Balcony Bloom Elixir for flowering plants in soil, especially:

• Geraniums (pelargoniums), petunias and dahlias
• Fuchsias, begonias and heliotropes
• Balcony boxes and railing planters
• Hanging baskets and flowering patio pots
• Flowering containers on terraces and in gardens
• Plants actively growing and producing blooms from spring through autumn

It is formulated primarily for soil-grown flowering plants rather than as a dedicated hydroponic fertiliser. Reduce feeding when plants slow down or enter dormancy, and remember that fertiliser cannot compensate for insufficient light, unsuitable watering or poor drainage.

Mix 5 ml of Balcony Bloom Elixir per litre of water, equivalent to 50 ml per 10 litres. Stir or mix thoroughly before watering.

Heavy-feeding flowering plants

Apply once per week for plants such as geraniums, petunias and dahlias during active growth and flowering.

Plants with lower feeding requirements

Apply once every two weeks for plants such as fuchsias, begonias and heliotropes.

Water the growing medium with the diluted solution as part of the plant's normal watering routine. Do not add an unnecessary extra watering just to fertilise, and avoid applying a concentrated dose to dry roots.

Adjust feeding to the season, weather, plant growth and any fertiliser already present in the substrate. Reduce or pause feeding when growth slows substantially.
