In detail

What this product is

The PlantScraper rapid moss pole dripper is designed to hydrate Classic Line moss poles from the top, ensuring water reaches the full height of the pole, not just the surface. It makes watering faster and more consistent on both single and stacked setups, and is one of the easiest ways to keep moss moist and fertilize directly through the pole.

Why and how to use a rapid moss pole dripper

Moss poles are difficult to water evenly by hand. Water often stays near the surface and does not reach lower sections where active roots develop. The rapid dripper distributes water quickly through the entire moss column, making hydration predictable and repeatable.

  • Place the dripper on top of the moss pole and align it with the closing position
  • Fill with water or diluted liquid fertilizer as needed
  • Water flows rapidly downward through sphagnum moss or moss pole mix
  • Lower sections of the pole receive proper hydration

This is a rapid dripper, not a slow release system. Hydration is controlled by refill frequency.

Sizes and compatibility

The dripper must match both the moss pole size and the closing position in use.

  • Available in S, M, L, and XL and in as many closing positions as a moss pole offers:
S poles have 1 closing position, use S drippers
M poles have 3 closing positions, default recommendation M2
L poles have 4 closing positions, default recommendation L3
XL poles have 4 closing positions, default recommendation XL3
  • Compatible only with PlantScraper Classic Line D-shape moss poles
  • Not compatible with front-opening moss poles
  • Not compatible with coco poles or other manufacturers’ systems

Always select the dripper that matches both the pole size and the closing position.

FAQ and good to know
  • Made from PETG plastic, not PLA. PLA is common in plant accessories but degrades with prolonged water exposure. PETG is stronger, water resistant, and built for long-term indoor use. Integrated anti-clogging design ensures reliable flow
  • Recommended for all Classic moss poles, regardless of size or closing position
  • Can be combined with self-watering systems and is especially useful for precise fertilization through the pole
  • One of our most appreciated accessories among moss pole users, especially for tall or stacked setups
  • When using a moss pole anchor, the dripper size is fixed by the anchor geometry and must follow these rules:
    S poles use S drippers
    M poles use M2 drippers
    L poles use L3 drippers
    XL poles use XL3 drippers
