Il set PlantScraper con ancoraggio e sistema autoirrigante è un sistema completo di stabilizzazione e idratazione per guidare le piante rampicanti a lungo termine. Combina un vaso autoirrigante per aroidi, un ancoraggio per tutore e un tutore Classic Line a forma di D in un unico setup integrato, progettato per supportare crescita verticale, idratazione delle radici e stabilità strutturale.

Funziona meglio se usato dall’inizio della crescita. Se la pianta è già molto grande o completamente sviluppata, spesso è meglio fare talee e ricominciare invece di forzare un ancoraggio e un tutore su una struttura già stabilita.

Le piante rampicanti diventano più pesanti e meno stabili man mano che crescono. I vasi normali non fissano le strutture verticali, causando spesso inclinazioni o ribaltamenti nel tempo.

L’ancoraggio blocca fisicamente il tutore al vaso, trasferendo il peso della pianta all’ancoraggio e al contenitore invece di dipendere solo dal substrato. Questo offre stabilità immediata dal primo giorno, mentre il sistema autoirrigante garantisce umidità costante alla base.

Poiché l’idratazione dipende dallo sviluppo delle radici e dalla capillarità, il sistema può richiedere tempo per raggiungere la piena efficienza. Una volta stabilito, le radici ricevono umidità stabile senza ristagni.

Per questo sistema è fortemente consigliato usare sfagno puro, non mix per tutori.

Pot sizing is critical for stability and performance

• When using an anchor, always size up your pot. The recommended increase is 4 to 8 cm in diameter compared to a regular setup. Example: A plant in a 10 cm pot should be upgraded to 18 cm when adding an anchor.
• Extra space is required for the anchor, the root system, and proper water circulation in the reservoir.

Understanding set naming

Each set name combines the moss pole size and the self-watering aroid pot diameter.

• The letter refers to the moss pole size
• The number refers to the pot diameter in centimeters
• Example: M15 means an M size moss pole with a 15 cm self-watering aroid pot

Usa il mix per tutori in sfagno per setup standard: offre migliore struttura, aerazione e stabilità a lungo termine. Usa sfagno puro per setup autoirriganti: trattiene umidità costante e funziona meglio con sistemi passivi.

This system is designed to handle constant moisture, fertilization, and long-term indoor use.

• The anchor is made from PETG plastic for strength and water resistance.
• The self-watering aroid pot is made from PET plastic.
• A wick is included for capillary water transfer.

Even though this is a self-watering system, drippers are strongly recommended.

• S set uses S dripper
• M set uses M2 dripper
• L set uses L3 dripper

Important growing principles

• Climbing plants are trained long-term, not supported temporarily. Garden ties are essential to guide growth
• Moss poles, anchors, and pots must be chosen based on the plant’s future size, not its current size
• Starting too small leads to repotting, rebuilding, and stress later. Large climbers like Monsteras should start directly on XL moss poles, even when young
• Stability is not an upgrade. Anchoring should be planned from day one
• Moss poles must always be watered from the top and fertilized regularly, as moss contains no nutrients
• Moss poles should be extended in advance. Once roots reach the top, extending becomes difficult
• A high-quality mineral mix with proper drainage is non-negotiable for the pot
• If you already have a fully grown plant, taking cuttings and restarting is usually the cleanest solution when transitioning to a moss pole

Please note that the pot design has been updated. Unlike some older versions shown in our social media, the current pot no longer includes a central hole for passing the wick through in case of using a self-watering system.

The wick should be passed through any other hole located at the base of the moss pole.
