In detail

Why should I use this product?

Use Mykoriza Premium when you want better roots, faster establishment, and less transplant stress after repotting your aroids.

Monsteras, Philodendrons, Anthuriums, Alocasias, Syngoniums and other tropical houseplants do not grow well just because the leaves look nice. They grow well when the root system is active, healthy, and able to explore the substrate.

Mykoriza Premium supports the root zone with mycorrhizal fungi, Trichoderma, beneficial bacteria, microorganisms, and trace elements. In simple terms: it helps create a stronger biological connection between the roots and the substrate.

This matters especially for aroids because most of them are grown in airy, chunky mixes with bark, perlite, coco chips, tree fern fiber, sphagnum, biochar or mineral components. These mixes are perfect for oxygen and drainage, but the plant still needs an active root zone to actually use the water and nutrients available inside the pot.

Best for: when the plant is building roots. That is where it makes sense.

How to use this product

Best method: directly on the roots during repotting

Use 1-2 g per liter of root ball.

1. Remove the plant from the pot.
2. Clean or loosen the root ball if needed.
3. Sprinkle the powder directly onto the roots and around the root ball.
4. Place the plant into fresh substrate.
5. Water normally.

This is the best method because mycorrhiza works by touching the roots. If it does not reach the roots, it cannot do its job properly.

For cuttings: Lightly dip the rooted cutting or the root area into the powder before planting into substrate. This is useful when moving Monstera, Philodendron, Syngonium or Epipremnum cuttings from water, moss, perlite or propagation boxes into a real potting mix.

For already potted plants: Use 1 g per 1 L of water.

1. Mix well.
2. Water the substrate from the top.
3. Repeat every 2-3 weeks if needed.

For self-watering pots: Apply from the top into the substrate, not into the reservoir. After applying, remove or replace the water from the reservoir.

Use it when repotting into the self-watering pot, or water it through the substrate from above so the product reaches the root zone, but make sure the substance doesn't stay in the reservoir.

How NOT to use this product

Do not use it as a normal fertilizer. It supports roots and the root microbiome, but it does not replace plant food.

Do not sprinkle it into a moss pole. Apply it to substrate in the pot.

Do not add it to a closed self-watering reservoir. The reservoir should stay clean. Add this product to the substrate, not to standing water.

Do not use it as a quick fix for yellow leaves. Yellow leaves can come from overwatering, underwatering, pests, low light, old leaves, root rot, nutrient deficiency or shipping stress. Mykoriza Premium helps the root system, but it will not reverse damaged leaves.

Do not apply it to completely dry substrate and leave it there. Water after application so the product moves toward the root zone.

Do not use it together with strong fungicides unless the fungicide is clearly compatible with mycorrhiza. Fungicides can damage beneficial fungi.

Do not expect instant visible results. The first results are usually better rooting, better recovery, and healthier new growth. Old damaged leaves will not become perfect again.

Do not overuse high-phosphorus fertilizers right after application. Too much phosphorus can reduce the plant’s need to form a strong mycorrhizal relationship.

Do not leave the product open, wet or exposed to heat. Keep it sealed, dry, and away from direct sun.

Do not treat it as a magic powder for dying plants. If roots are rotten, remove the rot first, improve the substrate, fix the watering routine, and then use Mykoriza Premium to support recovery.

Use it where it belongs, directly in the root zone, and Mykoriza Premium can help your plant establish faster, recover better, and push healthier new growth.
