STEP 5 CLASSIC MOSS POLE + ANCHOR

⏸️ PAUSE & CONFIRM 🤓
As mentioned earlier, have you closed the moss pole in its second-largest position? (Remember, S-sized moss poles are exempt from this step!).
Double-check before proceeding to ensure proper assembly! ✅

STEP 6 CLASSIC MOSS POLE + ANCHOR

Insert the moss pole into the anchor. If the moss pole walls get stuck, inspect the area and press gently with your fingers to free them. Ensure the entire moss pole, including part of the hexagonal pattern, is properly inserted into the anchor, not just the end without the hexagonal design. For a visual guide, check out this video for reference.

STEP 7 CLASSIC MOSS POLE + ANCHOR

Place the moss pole with its anchor into the corresponding pot, ensuring it fits securely. When pairing it with our aroid pots, don’t worry if the anchor feels slightly 'loose' at the bottom - the stability of the system comes from the substrate placed around it, not from the anchor perfectly clicking into the bottom of the pot.

STEP 8 CLASSIC MOSS POLE + ANCHOR

Once the pole is inside the anchor and the pot, fill it with your choice of substrate, such as moss, moss pole mix, or another suitable material. Ensure that the portion of the moss pole inside the pot, including the anchor and a small section above it, is filled with regular substrate instead of soggy materials like moss.

Take care not to overpack the moss pole - too tight, and the roots may struggle to grow; too loose, and the pole might become unstable when extended.

If using moss as your substrate, soak it in water beforehand for best results.
